Her life experience, much like a well-crafted screenplay, has been filled with twists and turns, culminating in a truly memorable role.

2898 AD featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone among others is a smashing box office success, continuing to run strong in cinemas and breaking numerous records. In the midst of this tremendous success, actress Keerthy Suresh, known for her role as Bujji, has made an unexpected disclosure. She revealed that she was initially offered a distinct role within the film instead.

During an interview on Galatta Plus, Keerthy Suresh disclosed that she was given a unique character for Kalki 2898 AD, but she declined it initially. However, Suresh revealed her eagerness to join the project, starring Prabhas as the main lead, despite her initial refusal.

In the realm of cinema, Nagi presented me with another opportunity, yet I found myself hesitant. Later, he inquired, “Would you at least take a sneak peek through a keyhole?” I eagerly agreed, saying, “I’d be thrilled to participate in your film.” Reflecting now, I’m grateful for declining the initial offer. It turned out to be my best dubbing experience. The joy was immeasurable, and it has left me with a cherished memory. I can hardly wait for the next venture together!

Due to Nag Ashwin’s suggestion, she agreed to provide the voice for the AI character Bujji in the movie. Excited by this chance, Suresh delivered a performance that was positively appreciated.

In the year 2898 AD, Kalki has broken a significant record by earning over Rs 1000 billion at the global box office, placing it among the most financially successful Indian films ever made. This impressive feat was applauded by industry veterans like Kamal Haasan, who commended the movie’s success.

After the year 2898 AD, Keerthy Suresh is busily involved in numerous productions, one of which is Raghu Thatha, scheduled to premiere on Independence Day.
