Did you know Allu Arjun once shared screen space with THIS legendary actor as child artist? Find out who he is here

As an ardent fan, I can’t help but marvel at Allu Arjun’s journey from a child artist working with the legendary Kamal Haasan in Swathi Muthyam back in 1986 to becoming one of the most prominent actors in Tollywood today. It’s fascinating how he began his career by playing roles that went unnoticed at the time but eventually gained recognition years later.

Allu Arjun is well-known within India’s movie industry. While he gained popularity through his debut film Gangotri in the 2000s, it might be less known that he started his acting career as a child artist. In fact, he had a chance to collaborate with the esteemed actor Kamal Haasan at one point.

In 1986, Allu Arjun teamed up with Kamal Haasan in the movie “Swathi Muthyam.” During this film, the Pushpa star portrayed the character of his grandson, a role that initially went unrecognized but later garnered him acclaim. Interestingly, this was the only project where Allu Arjun and Kamal Haasan shared screen time. Moreover, “Swathi Muthyam” was a box office hit and received the National Film Award as well as multiple other awards.

Apart from “Swathi Muthyam,” Allu Arjun also made an appearance as a child artist in the movie “Vijetha” starring Chiranjeevi, which was produced by his father, Allu Aravind, a year prior to its release.

On the professional side, Allu Arjun is gearing up for the premiere of his highly anticipated movie Pushpa 2: The Rule. Originally slated for an August 15 release (Independence Day), the production faced delays and has now been rescheduled to December 6 instead.

Alongside Allu Arjun, the movie will star Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in prominent roles. They will both be taking on their previous characters in Pushpa 2’s continuation.

It’s intriguing to note that Pushpa 2 and Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava will go head-to-head in the Northern region. Both movies feature Rashmika Mandanna as the main actress, leading fans to eagerly anticipate two of her films facing off against each other.

In addition to working with Trivikram Srinivas on his upcoming movie, it’s also been speculated that Allu Arjun might team up with director Atlee, known for his work on Jawan. Yet, the official confirmation about them making a film together is still unverified.
