As an ardent fan of the Pushpa franchise, I find myself utterly captivated by Rashmika Mandanna‘s heartfelt farewell to the sets of Pushpa 2: The Rule. Her journey over the past five years has been nothing short of remarkable, and her emotional note resonates deeply with me.
Approaching December 5, Pushpa 2: The Rule is nearing its grand premiere. With just a few days left before release, filming for the movie has concluded and the cast posted heartfelt messages on social media as they bid adieu to their five-year journey on set. Rashmika Mandanna also expressed her emotions about wrapping up shooting.
Rashmika, the actress, wrote an extended message on Instagram stories describing how exhausting November 25th turned out to be for her. In her post, she detailed that after a demanding day of filming, she traveled to Chennai for an event and then flew back to Hyderabad on the same night. With only minimal rest, she proceeded to her final day of shooting for Pushpa 2. Despite knowing it was her last day, the experience didn’t feel genuine to her.
Rashmika appeared to suggest that there might be Pushpa 3, and she wrote, “During the past seven or eight years, the last five years spending almost all of them on this set made this location feel like home in my profession. Lastly, it was my final day… Naturally, there’s a lot more work to do, and supposedly another part 3, but it felt unique… it felt intense… it felt like it was coming to an end.
She remarked, “A mysterious sadness enveloped me, one I couldn’t fully grasp. All my feelings converged at once, and it felt like the grueling days of intense labor were right before me again. I was overwhelmed with fatigue, exhaustion, yet also profound gratitude.
Rashmika Mandanna, who starred in Pushpa 2, shared that she would deeply miss her co-stars and the entire team, including Allu Arjun and director Sukumar. The strong bonds she formed during their collaboration left her feeling emotional. She added that the people she’s worked with over the years have come to know her best, making it difficult to leave behind such a comforting and nurturing atmosphere.
