As a devoted admirer of Prabhas’ cinematic prowess, it is always a delight to witness his extraordinary performances that captivate audiences worldwide. His latest masterpiece, Kalki 2898 AD, has been nothing short of spectacular, and its upcoming premiere in Japan was eagerly anticipated by both fans and the star himself.

Prabhas gave an outstanding performance in the movie “Kalki 2898 AD,” directed by Nag Ashwin, which was a huge success at the box office throughout India. The film is now set to debut in Japan. Unfortunately, due to an injury he sustained recently, the Rebel star may not be able to attend the premiere event.

On various social media platforms, Prabhas publicly thanked fans worldwide for their overwhelming affection towards him and his movie. He mentioned with excitement that he had long anticipated the opportunity to travel to Japan.

In a twist of unfortunate events, I found myself unable to attend the grand opening of Kalki 2898 AD in Japan as I’ve injured my ankle during the filming of one of my projects. The pain has me grounded for now, but rest assured, I am eagerly awaiting updates on this intriguing premiere!

Check out the statement here:

I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for the constant love and support you’ve shown towards me and my work. For a long time now, I had been eagerly anticipating my journey to Japan. Unfortunately, during filming, I sustained an ankle sprain that prevented me from making it. However, our distributor, Twin, has been nothing short of exceptional in their support, and we’re truly grateful for all their tireless work in preparing ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ for release on January 3rd. I eagerly look forward to our next meeting.

Although the actor couldn’t participate in the premiere, the producers promised that they wouldn’t feel let down because the director Nag Ashwin would show up instead of Prabhas at the event.

The movie will be premiered in Japan coinciding with the festive season of Shogatsu, and it’s predicted to captivate viewers with its dazzling acting.

For those not familiar, Prabhas is presently engaged in filming Hanu Raghavapudi’s upcoming war drama titled “Fauji.” This movie is expected to hit theaters at the end of 2025.

Additionally, the actor boasts several upcoming projects on his agenda. Among these are the follow-up to his 2023 movie titled Salaar 2.

Additional ventures feature the greatly ambitious production by Sandeep Reddy Vanga titled Spirit. Additionally, Prabhas will make a guest appearance in Vishnu Manchu’s film named Kannappa.
