Did Prabhas come to meet Anushka Shetty on sets of her upcoming film Ghaati? Here's what we know

As a devoted fan of Telugu cinema who has witnessed the magical chemistry between Prabhas and Anushka Shetty on screen, I can’t help but feel a flutter of excitement every time they cross paths off-screen too! The recent reports of Prabhas visiting Anushka’s sets for Ghaati have me reminiscing about their memorable moments together in films like Baahubali and Bhaagmathie.

Fans frequently perceive Prabhas and Anushka Shetty as a popular duo in Tollywood films, cherishing them deeply. However, it’s been emphasized that their bond remains platonic, with Prabhas occasionally dropping by on the sets of Anushka’s film projects.

It seems that the Rebel Star recently paid a visit to the sets of the movie ‘Ghaati’, which was announced not too long ago on Anushka Shetty’s birthday. According to social media posts, this is Prabhas’ second trip to Anushka’s film set since ‘Bhaagmathie’. It remains undecided if his visit to Ghaati was official as confirmation is still pending.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share that I had the pleasure of announcing the official launch of the movie “Ghaati,” directed by the talented Krish Jagarlamudi. This exciting announcement was made on Anushka Shetty’s birthday, and it promised a tantalizing sneak peek into her role in this action-packed film. Joining Anushka in key roles are the esteemed actors Ramya Krishnan and Jagapathi Babu, making this project even more enticing!

In the future, Prabhas has made news as the producers of Salaar revealed he will star in three movies they are financing. The official statement indicated that a sequel to Salaar, titled Salaar 2, is scheduled for release in 2026, with additional films set to follow in both 2027 and 2028.

It’s also being talked about that Prabhas might work with directors Prasanth Varma and Lokesh Kanagaraj in future projects as well. Coming up next is “The Raja Saab,” a film directed by Maruthi, where you’ll find Prabhas on screen.

On April 10, 2025, a horror-comedy film starring Nidhhi Agerwal and Malavika Mohanan as the leading ladies is set to premiere. The movie has already unveiled its initial teaser, hinting at Prabhas playing not one but two roles in this upcoming production.

Beyond that, I’m eagerly anticipating Prabhas’ upcoming period war movie, helmed by the talented Sita Ramam director, Hanu Raghavapudi. Tentatively titled “PrabhasHanu” (famously known as Fauji), this film boasts social media sensation Imanvi in the lead role. Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada grace us with their presence in supporting roles. Excitingly, it seems that Prabhas will portray a soldier from the British India army in this production.

Moreover, it’s been announced that Prabhas will collaborate with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga on a cop-action film titled “Spirit.” In this movie, Prabhas is expected to portray an angry young police officer, and there are rumors that Rashmika Mandanna might take the female lead role.
