Did Kayadu Lohar receive Rs 35 lakh to attend night parties? Dragon actress comes under ED scanner in scam case

Recently, Kayadu Lohar has been making headlines for less-than-favorable circumstances. Notably known for her memorable role in the film Dragon that went viral, she is currently under investigation by the Enforcement Directorate.

Based on reports from Mid-Day, it appears that the Tasmac scam case investigation has uncovered links directly involving the actress.

It’s said that an unscrupulous firm is reported to have given Kayadu a sum of about 35 million rupees. This payment was believed to secure her presence at their late-night events. However, her name came up during one of the extensive searches carried out by the Enforcement Directorate.

Yet, neither the actress’s representatives nor they have provided an official comment or explanation regarding this issue to date. Despite this, the news about it has rapidly circulated, causing a stir among her fans and peers in the entertainment industry.

Discussing Kayadu Lohar, she first appeared in Tamil cinema alongside Pradeep Ranganathan in the film titled Dragon. Beyond this, she has contributed to movies produced in various regional languages, gradually increasing her fan base.

Born in the city of Tezpur, Assam, and educated in Commerce, as per a report by ETimes, Kayadu started her journey in the world of entertainment by joining beauty pageants prior to venturing into films.

Following a series of minor appearances, she left a notable mark on the big screen for the first time with the Kannada movie “Mugilpete” in 2021. Subsequently, she made her Malayalam film debut with “Pathonpatham Noottandu”.

At approximately the same period, she started appearing in Marathi and Telugu films for the first time. Yet, it wasn’t until the release of “Dragon” that she experienced a significant breakthrough in her acting career. The movie was extremely successful and marked a pivotal moment in Kayadu’s professional journey.

Following that, the renowned artist has joined forces with Silambarasan TR for his future venture, known as STR49. This film is under the guidance of director Ramkumar Balakrishnan and has already been declared, with filming now in progress.
