Dhanush is preparing for the launch of his fourth directorial film titled “Idly Kadai,” which he recently showcased new posters for during the festival of Pongal in 2025. Taking to social media, he unveiled a set of two posters that captured a romantic moment between him and Nithya Menen, generating excitement among fans.
After their appearance in Thiruchithrambalam, fans eagerly welcomed back the actors and showered their affection through comments on the related post. Fans affectionately referred to them as “Thiru” and “Shobana”, while Dhanush’s post extended Pongal greetings for this year.

The movie “Idly Kadai” signifies Dhanush’s fourth directorial venture, following projects like “Pa Paandi,” “Rayaan,” and “NEEK.” This upcoming film, where Dhanush plays the main character, is described as a heartwarming drama and is scheduled to hit theatres on April 10, 2025.
A while back, a sneak peek at the main costumes from the upcoming movie was unveiled, showcasing Dhanush in two distinct characters. Apart from Dhanush, Captain Miller’s actor (Nithya Menen) and other notable actors like Shalini Pandey, Arun Vijay, Prakash Raj, Raj Kiran, and several others are also part of the significant cast.
In the coming days, Nithya Menen will make her appearance on the silver screen with the film titled “Kadhalikka Neramillai.” This film, a delightful blend of romance and comedy, is set to premiere in cinemas on January 14, 2025. Sharing the limelight with Menen is Ravi Mohan as the co-lead. Apart from the leading pair, notable actors such as Yogi Babu, Vinay Rai, John Kokken, Lal, and others are part of the supporting cast. The talented AR Rahman has contributed to the film’s musical tracks and scores.
In a different turn of events, Dhanush will take on the main character in the upcoming film titled Kubera, sharing the screen with Nagarjuna Akkineni and Rashmika Mandanna. Additionally, he has forthcoming projects with directors Rajkumar Periasamy and Vetrimaaran lined up.
