Ajith Kumar received the highly respected Padma Bhushan Award during Republic Day, January 25th’s festivities. On this notable event, many famous figures extended their congratulations to him for his accomplishment. More recently, Dhanush expressed a unique message to the racing champion through his social media platform X.
Dhanush offered his heartfelt congratulations to Ajith on receiving the Padma Bhushan honor. He also extended his congrats to Ravichandran Ashwin, the first cricketer from Tamil Nadu to receive the Padma Shri. Furthermore, the Idly Kadai actor conveyed his congratulations to all other Padma award recipients for bringing pride to our nation in their respective areas of excellence.

In my own words, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Ajith Sir on receiving the esteemed Padma Bhushan award. Additionally, I would like to congratulate @ashwinravi99 for becoming the first cricketer from Tamil Nadu to receive a Padma Shri. My warmest congratulations also go out to all other recipients of the Padma awards, whose achievements in their respective fields have made our nation proud.

Following the presentation of the Padma Bhushan, Ajith Kumar extended his sincere thanks to both the President and Prime Minister. Throughout his career, he acknowledged the support of the film industry and sports communities, which had been instrumental in his success. Furthermore, he tenderly thanked his fans, dedicating this honor to them.
To those dearest to me, my family and friends: Your affection and encouragement have served as a sanctuary and a fortress, empowering me in countless ways. My heartfelt gratitude to each one of you! Though it pains me that my dear father is not here to witness this moment, I believe he would take immense pride in knowing his spirit and legacy are thriving through my actions. A special thank you to my mother for her boundless love and the selfless sacrifices that have shaped me into who I am today.

The esteemed Padma Awards were bestowed upon two prominent athletes from India: former cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin and hockey player PR Sreejesh. Ashwin was given the Padma Shri, while Sreejesh received the higher honor of the Padma Bhushan.
