As a die-hard fan of Dhanush, I can’t help but be in awe of his unwavering dedication and deep connection to his roots. The latest photo he shared from his visit to his ancestral temple in Theni district is a testament to his strong sense of heritage and spirituality.
Dhanush is now gearing up for the premiere of his next movie, titled Raayan. This is his second directorial effort, having previously helmed Pa Paandi in 2017. The film is slated to hit theaters on July 26. In preparation for its release, Dhanush and his son paid a visit to their family temple located in the Theni district of Tamil Nadu, seeking blessings for Raayan’s success.
Dhanush shares photo from his temple visit
Dhanush posted on his social media an image of himself in deep meditation, seated on the ground at his ancestral temple. The surroundings are tranquil, and Dhanush seems lost in thought, conveying a sense of calm.
The temple is surrounded by a large tree that provides shade, enhancing the tranquil atmosphere in the scene. In this image, Dhanush can be seen having a solitary and contemplative moment at his family’s temple. He posted the photo with the caption “Remaining linked to your heritage brings serenity,” along with a heart emoji in white.
For those unfamiliar, Dhanush traveled to Theni district, where his father, Kasturi Raja, is originally from. His family’s ancient temple lies in Muthuranga Puram, a part of Theni.
