Recently, Sun Pictures shared behind-the-scenes footage of Dhanush overseeing the direction of their film at Sun Pictures. In this video, we see Dhanush both acting and instructing his cast members during production.

In the film’s sets, Dhanush is seen dancing alongside Sundeep Kishan and Aparna Balamurali. He works closely with choreographers Prabhudeva and Baba Bhaskar. What is the storyline of Raayan?

In this version, Dhanush’s character, Kathavaraayan or Rayan, is the eldest sibling who looks after his two brothers, Manickam and Muthu, as well as his sister Durga, when their parents leave them behind in a tiny town under the rule of the gangsters Sekar and Saravanan. A tenuous truce prevails in this Tamil Nadu community.

A new police commissioner (Prakash Raj) joining the force upsets the peace, resulting in disorder. Manickam at college, carefree Muthu, Durga, and Raayan, who runs a food stall, enjoy harmonious lives. However, their tranquility is shattered when an incident occurs, leading to the narrative of how Raayan gets drawn into a gang feud and its aftermath.

Raayan boasts a star-studded cast featuring the talents of Dushara Vijayan, Sundeep Kishan, Selvaraghavan, SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and more notable actors.
