Back in 2004, I was fortunate to witness the beautiful union of Dhanush and Aishwaryaa. However, as time unfolded, we found ourselves on different paths, an announcement that shook our hearts in 2022. Fast forward to November 27, 2024, their divorce became official following a lengthy legal process. Amidst it all, they remain the proud parents of Yatra and Linga, two beautiful souls who continue to light up our world.

Since their separation, the two have rarely been spotted together.

In terms of his career, Dhanush has garnered attention lately due to his selection as the main character in an upcoming biographical movie about Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. This project will be overseen by director Om Raut, who is best known for Adipurush.

In a recent interview, film director Om Raut explained his decision to cast Dhanush in the biopic, stating, “I believe there was no other actor more suited than Dhanush to portray the profound spiritual and intellectual aspects of the character on screen. He is an ideal selection for this role, and I, along with my entire crew, are grateful he decided to join us in bringing this significant project to life.

In terms of his career, Dhanush is preparing for the premiere of Kuberaa, a social thriller helmed by Sekhar Kammula. This movie features Nagarjuna Akkineni as a co-star, sharing the limelight with Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and other key actors. The release date is scheduled for June 20, 2025.

Besides his upcoming film, Dhanush will also star as the lead actor in his directorial project titled “Idly Kadai,” initially scheduled for release on April 10, 2023, but now set to hit theaters on October 1, 2025. This movie, categorized as a drama, has been rescheduled due to unspecified reasons. The film boasts an impressive cast including Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, and Rajkiran in significant supporting roles.

Currently, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth can be spotted having directed the sports drama Lal Salaam, which includes a brief appearance by her father, Rajinikanth. This movie will start streaming on SunNXT from June 6, 2025.
