Dexter: Resurrection Casts Uma Thurman as Series Regular

Uma Thurman has joined the cast of Dexter: Resurrection.

Upcoming on Showtime is a series titled “Dexter: Revival,” which brings back Michael C. Hall in his character Dexter Morgan. The show’s cast also includes David Zayas portraying Detective Angel Batista, Jack Alcott as Harrison Morgan, and James Remar taking on the role of Harry Morgan.

Who is Uma Thurman playing in Dexter: Resurrection?

By the Set Date, Thurman has been chosen to portray Charley, a series regular in Dexter: Return. Charley is the Head of Security for the enigmatic billionaire Leon Prater and a former Special Forces officer with a past in high-level private security roles. She now assists Prater as his efficient and detail-oriented second-in-command.

Uma Thurman has gained fame for her roles as Mia Wallace in Pulp Fiction (1994) directed by Quentin Tarantino, as well as playing Beatrix Kiddo/The Bride in both Kill Bill: Volume 1 (2003) and its sequel, Kill Bill: Volume 2 (2004). Her acting credits span across films such as Batman & Robin (1997), Tape (2001), Paycheck (2003), The Producers (2005), Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010), and Red, White & Royal Blue (2023).

Filming for Dexter: Resurrection has begun in New York City. Clyde Phillips is overseeing the show as its executive producer, along with Hall, Scott Reynolds, Tony Hernandez, and Lily Burns. Marcos Siega is taking on a dual role as a producing director, directing six episodes of the series, while Monica Raymund is in charge of four.

This summer, Dexter: Resurrection – a series distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution – is set to make its debut.

In December 2024, a fresh Dexter series called “Dexter: Original Sin” debuted on Paramount+ and Showtime. This new series serves as a prequel to the original Dexter series and has been airing new episodes every Friday. The season finale will be shown on February 14, 2025.
