Devil May Cry Trailer: Netflix’s Anime Featuring Dante From the DMC Series

Netflix has unveiled the authentic Devil May Cry trailer for its hotly-awaited anime adaption based on the well-known Capcom video game franchise by Hideki Kamiya. This spine-tingling anime series is slated to air starting April 3, 2025.

In this animated version of the well-known Capcom game, as imagined by Adi Shankar, malevolent powers strive to open a gateway between the human and demonic dimensions. Amidst the chaos stands Dante, an orphaned mercenary who hunts demons, oblivious that the destiny of both realms is tied to his existence.

What happens in the Devil May Cry trailer?

The video showcases our series’ lead character, Dante, depicted initially as a demon hunter summoned to battle an overwhelming horde of demons. It also previews some thrilling action scenes from the anime. The voice talent includes Johnny Yong Bosch portraying Dante, Scout Taylor-Compton voicing Lady, Hoon Lee as White Rabbit, Kevin Conroy as VP Baines, and Chris Coppola lending his voice to Enzo.

Devil May Cry is spearheaded and overseen by showrunner Adi Shankar, who has collaborated with Netflix on the Castlevania series as well as its offshoot Castlevania: Nocturne. The production of this series is handled by Graham Hughes, Itsuno, and Lee Seung Wook serving as executive producers. Studio Mir is responsible for the creation of this production.
