Devara choreographer Bosco Martis admits disappointment in lack of credit from Janhvi Kapoor for Chuttamalle

The first part of the movie “Devara,” featuring Jr NTR as the main character, was released on September 27, 2024. However, the film’s choreographer for the song “Chuttamalle,” Bosco Martis, has voiced his frustration over insufficient credit given to Janhvi Kapoor.

In an interview on the BBC Asian Network, Bosco Martis expressed that he would have liked Janhvi to acknowledge his role in Chuttamalle during her promotions, but he understands if she didn’t. If they fail to recognize his contributions, then perhaps they are unaware of them. So, he continues doing his work and maybe someday it will be appreciated.

It needs to be clarified. Instead of insisting yourself and bringing up the issue directly with someone like: ‘Why haven’t you mentioned my name on the radio station or discussed my dance moves when they come up?’ a more scientific approach would be better.

Bosco emphasized that there should be a clear system in place, allowing individuals to identify the choreographer, rather than requiring someone else to vouch for it. Furthermore, he praised Vicky Kaushal for acknowledging his role in the popular track “Tauba Tauba” from Bad Newz.
