As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I’ve seen the gaming landscape evolve in ways that were once unimaginable. From the days of dial-up modems and pixelated graphics to today’s high-resolution, immersive experiences, I’ve been there, done that.
2018 saw rumors emerge that NetEase was planning to commission a game from Bungie outside the Destiny series, estimated to cost around $100 Million. More recently, in September of this year, there was a leak suggesting the potential development of a Destiny mobile game.
Yesterday, Bungie and NetEase jointly unveiled a fresh addition to the series named “_Destiny: Ascending_”, which unfortunately, is designed for smartphones.
Destiny coming to mobile
From the sneak peek, it’s clear that Destiny: Rising is a fresh mobile game offering a “new journey with both old and new faces” due for release. This adventure promises to introduce not only classic but also entirely new gameplay modes. Intriguingly, it’s touted as the inaugural mobile epic science-fiction RPG shooter, taking place in an “alternate Destiny universe timeline“.
As a fellow gaming enthusiast, here’s my take: I’m excited to announce that I’ve got the chance to pre-register for an exclusive closed alpha test in November! If you’re curious about the gameplay, be sure to check out the developer’s sneak peek video. Let’s join forces and dive into this gaming adventure together!
What are your thoughts on Destiny: Rising? Would you give Destiny mobile a try?
