Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate download size
As a gamer diving into Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate, I’ve got to warn you – this game takes up quite a bit of space, especially during preload and installation. Some platforms require you to have nearly twice the usual storage for the entire game and the expansion, as it remains fully installed while downloading both. So, make sure your hard drive has enough room!

On your PlayStation 4 or Steam platform, Destiny 2 continues to reside even during the download process of The Edge of Fate expansion. Keep in mind that you’ll need extra storage space to accommodate the temporary increase in file size. Once the download completes, the game’s file size will adjust back to its original, correct amount.
For Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate, preloads are either already accessible or will be coming soon to your gaming platform. Regardless of what device you’re using, ensure there’s enough storage space on your hard drive for the file size so it downloads and installs smoothly.
