Bungie is working on its upcoming major expansion titled “The Edge of Fate,” marking a new chapter in the storyline so far. This installment features an unexpected turn in the tale of the Emissary of the Nine and their host, Orin. The expansion has been scheduled for release this summer across all platforms. Additionally, Bungie hinted at a future expansion called “Destiny 2: Renegades,” which is expected to launch in December.

But that’s not all! If you can’t get enough Guardian action, Bungie has another treat in store for us: Destiny 2: Renegades is set to hit the scene on December 2, 2025. Can’t wait to see what adventures await us!
The teaser reveals once more our familiar figure, the Envoy of the Nine, delving into the cosmic order and lore of the universe, even predating the Watcher’s existence. It appears that the Envoy is hatching a plan, but the twist lies in Orin, who refuses to be a mere pawn any longer. She rebels and reasserts her power as a Titan-class Guardian. This development promises an engaging turn of events involving other characters related to the Nine, including the Drifter, who has had connections with her previously.
