Once Episode Heresy Act 3 concludes, Destiny 2 will progress towards its summer 2025 expansion, tentatively named Apollo, as per the 2025 roadmap. Although we have some time before Apollo arrives, there might be leaks indicating a new Destiny 2 pre-order bonus perk and weapon boasting an “80% damage increase.”

Earlier, we shared news about a suspected gameplay sneak peek revealing the comeback of the No Land Beyond Exotic from Destiny 1, now known as New Land Beyond in Destiny 2. Regrettably, the leaked videos have been taken down, but BungieLeaks has offered additional insights on this matter.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve heard through the grapevine that New Land Beyond is a sweet treat for those who pre-order. Some folks thought it was destined for Marathon, but according to BungieLeaks, it seems more likely to be tied to Codename: Apollo instead.

Below are the leaked New Land Beyond perk details:

  • Intrinsic Trait: The Master – Scoring precision hits increases this weapon’s damage until the wielder’s defeat. (~80% damage buff at x24 stacks, also changes the buff name to “Grandmaster x20”)
  • Secondary Trait: Bullseye Bolster – Landing a precision hit substantially increases this weapon’s target acquisition, handling, reload speed, and stability for a short duration of time

Initially, BungieLeaks mentioned that the buff provides an “80% damage increase when there are 20 stacks,” however, they later amended it to state that the “80% buff is activated with 24 stacks.

It’s important to note that this information is not yet officially confirmed. As of now, there seems to be no set date for pre-orders of Apollo, but it appears to be the sole method to guarantee access to the New Land Beyond.
