Disney’s Descendants 5 gets 2026 release date window

Disney has made an announcement that their hit musical comedy, the fifth installment of Descendants, is set for release in the summer season of 2026.

A recent report by Laughing Place revealed that an update was made during Disney’s Descendants/Zombies: Worlds Collide Tour, which took place in San Diego, California on July 17, 2025. At this event, the studio announced something new. This tour featured performances by the cast members of both the Descendants and ZOMBIES movies, who combined their talents for a series of shows.

Additionally, the fifth installment will continue the storyline following the events depicted in the fourth movie titled “Descendants: The Rise of Red.” Disney Branded Television president Ayo Davis confirmed the return of Descendants back in February. She emphasized that the immense love and positive feedback received for “Descendants: The Rise of Red” sparked the production of a fifth part, indicating that viewers are genuinely interested in these characters.
