As a long-time follower of gaming trends and a dedicated player myself, I can confidently say that the upcoming Ranked mode in Deadlock has me absolutely thrilled! Having played my fair share of competitive multiplayer games over the years, I’m always on the lookout for new challenges. The thought of climbing Deadlock’s leaderboards and testing my skills against fellow players is nothing short of exhilarating.
During an initial phase of testing while Valve works on refining and expanding the game, Deadlock has been steadily progressing. In about a week, one of the upcoming features, a well-structured Ranked mode, is expected to be launched. Starting in October, players will have the chance to engage solo in Ranked mode matchups and challenge themselves against Deadlock’s leaderboards for a fair evaluation of their skills.
The details of Ranked mode in Deadlock appeared within the game after one of its latest updates. Beginning on October 15, players will be able to solo queue for Ranked mode at specific times depending on their regional location. US West will allow play at 3pm to 6pm and 9pm to 12am PT. Meanwhile, US East will run from 12pm to 3pm and 6pm to 9pm ET. Players will likely play test games to be given their initial rank, after which they will be matched against similarly tiered players as they attempt to rise up the Leaderboards.
Valve’s Deadlock is an intriguing release from the studio behind Steam this recent season. Currently, it’s under early testing on Steam, with access limited to receiving an invite from a Valve developer or someone already participating in the test. Despite being in the testing phase, the game has managed to garner a significant following, reaching up to 170,000 simultaneous players last month.
On October 15, 2024, Ranked play is set to begin, offering Deadlock players an exciting opportunity to challenge themselves against diverse opponents at elevated levels of competition. Keep an eye out for further updates and insights about Deadlock!
