As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent in various digital worlds, I must say that Deadlock has piqued my curiosity with its unique sandbox mode and unreleased heroes. I’ve followed the instructions to the T, and while some of these heroes are still works in progress (T-posing here, missing textures there), it’s fascinating to see the early stages of character development.
In Deadlock, you can play unreleased heroes in the sandbox mode. Here is how you do it.
How To Play Unreleased Heroes
Start the sandbox mode and choose a character. It doesn’t matter which one.
In the mode, you can open the controls with the F7-button. Type: selecethero hero_heroname.
Warning! The majority of characters haven’t been fully prepared yet. Some of them will remain stationary (in T-pose) even when you attack them, or their textures might be incomplete. Only Nano, Wrecker, Mirage, and Astro are ready for play at the moment.
We’ve put together a list of all the commands, plus the unreleased heroes:
- selecthero hero_astro
- selecthero hero_bomber
- selecthero hero_cadance
- selecthero hero_gunslinger
- selecthero hero_kali
- selecthero hero_mirage
- selecthero hero_nano
- selecthero hero_rutger
- selecthero hero_slork
- selecthero hero_thumper
- selecthero hero_tokamak
- selecthero hero_wrecker
- selecthero hero_yakuza
