As an old-school gamer with a soft spot for gritty crime thrillers and high-stakes poker games, I’ve got to say, the Dead Money trailer has me hooked! I’ve seen my fair share of heists, hustles, and home game robberies in both virtual and real life, but this one looks like it’s got a unique twist.
The official trailer for the forthcoming crime thriller “Dead Money,” produced by Samuel Goldwyn Films, is now available. In this film, Emile Hirsch portrays a poker player who finds himself in a dangerous game where survival becomes the ultimate stakes.
Following a home robbery marked by violence, a skilled yet unscrupulous poker player and his partner find themselves in a tumultuous 24-hour span, culminating in the poker player participating in the most significant game of his career, all while their lives teeter on a precarious edge.

When is the Dead Money release date?
The movie titled “Dead Money” is set to premiere on September 13, both in cinemas and digitally. This film is directed by Luc Walpoth, with a screenplay penned by Josh Wilcox. Besides Hirsch, the star-studded cast includes David Keith (known for “Major League II”) as Jack, India Eisley (“Underworld: Awakening”) as Chloe, Peter Facinelli (“The Twilight Saga”) as LT, Jimmy Jean-Louis (“Heroes”) as Faizel, Rory Culkin (“Scream 4”) as Uncle Lonnie/Revolver, Jackie Earle Haley (“Watchmen”) as Wendel/Shotgun, Jocelyn Hudon (“The Strain”) as Kelly, Michael Malarkey (“Project Blue Book”) as Freddy, Yung Bleu (“Power Book II: Ghost”) as Deshawn Jefferson, Seth Michaels (“A Professor’s Vengeance”) as Julio, and Brennan Brown (“Not Okay”) as Bobby Kirkland.
Most recently, Hirsch appeared in the action-thriller “Prey,” alongside Ryan Phillippe and Mena Suvari. Coming up next, he will be featured in the thrillers “Run” with Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and the horror film titled “Woozy,” beyond his role in “Dead Money.”
