On a somewhat disappointing note, Dead by Daylight is set to part ways with its Hellraiser content next month. Behaviour Interactive has officially announced that the Pinhead killer, along with associated Hellraiser content and costumes, will no longer be available for purchase in the Dead by Daylight store starting April. However, if you’ve already purchased these items before they are delisted, you can continue to enjoy them in the game.
Behaviour Interactive has shared information on their social media about the removal of Hellraiser content from Dead by Daylight. As announced, The Cenobite killer and related cosmetics associated with the Hellraiser Chapter have been taken down from official stores, and starting April 4, 2025, they will no longer be available in the in-game store either. Players who currently own The Cenobite killer and its accompanying cosmetics can continue to use them, but those who haven’t purchased Hellraiser content before April 4, 2025, will not have the opportunity to obtain it after that date as it will be permanently discontinued.
For approximately four years, the Cenobite has offered both joy and torment to the Survivors within the Hellraiser Chapter. However, it’s time for this chapter to depart from the game on April 4th, 2025. Any content previously unlocked within the chapter will still be accessible in-game post that date.
We’re planning a grand farewell…

On a previous occasion, licensed content such as the Stranger Things maps and the Hawkins Laboratory were removed from Dead by Daylight in 2021. Despite Game Director Mathieu Cote’s hope that this would be a one-time occurrence, it appears that some adjustments necessitated another departure of content from the game.
