As a seasoned gamer with a decade-long obsession with Dead By Daylight, I must say, this news about DBD Mobile shutting down has left me both saddened and intrigued. On one hand, it’s another game biting the dust, but on the other, Behaviour Interactive is being surprisingly generous by offering free Bloodpoints for the main game.
2021 has been an incredible year for Dead by Daylight, but I must admit, the news that DBD Mobile is closing down early next year has left me feeling a bit flat. Whether you were a dedicated player of the spin-off or never gave it a second glance, there’s a glimmer of hope: DBD Mobile is giving away free Bloodpoints for Dead by Daylight players to redeem.
Before the New Year kicks off, there’s a significant amount of Bloodpoints up for grabs! You can still collect hundreds of thousands from the daily login rewards until December 2024. Additionally, whispers suggest two upcoming mini-events that will double or even triple the Bloodpoints you can earn as a player.
As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news! Since DBD Mobile is closing down, Dead by Daylight fans like me will have an additional opportunity to accumulate free Bloodpoints. This is a great way for us to keep our in-game inventory growing, even as we bid farewell to the mobile version of this beloved game.
DBD Mobile is shutting down, how to get free Dead By Daylight Bloodpoints
To make up for closing DBD Mobile, Behaviour Interactive is providing fans with complimentary Bloodpoints to use in the primary Dead by Daylight gameplay accessible on consoles and computers.
To claim your free Bloodpoints, it’s essential that you have a version of Dead By Daylight, either for console or PC. Once you own the base game, simply launch DBD Mobile on your iOS or Android device, and when a new prompt appears, click ‘accept’.
By clicking ‘Accept’ on this pop-up, you’ll be taken to the Welcome Package webpage, where you can either sign up for a new BeHaviour Account or log into an existing one. This BeHaviour account is essential because it needs to be connected with the gaming platform where you own and play Dead by Daylight (DBD).
Starting December 18th, you’ll be able to collect the Welcome Package, but remember, all rewards need to be claimed by March 20th. The number of free Bloodpoints you receive will be determined by the money spent and XP earned within DBD Mobile. The standard reward is 500,000 Bloodpoints and 2,250 Iridescent Shards.
If you haven’t tried Dead by Daylight Mobile yet, now is your chance to join in before it gets taken off app stores on January 16th, 2025. By starting now, you could become eligible for the basic compensation package, so why not give it a shot if you’ve never played before?
