In Dead By Daylight, there have been numerous remarkable collaborations thus far. The popular game FNAF is set to launch across all platforms in less than a week, and rumors suggest that in July, we might see two survivors from The Walking Dead, although this hasn’t been confirmed yet. Many fans dream of seeing Star Wars characters in the game, and while no official plans have been announced, a developer for Dead By Daylight has confirmed that discussions about Star Wars with Disney are indeed taking place. These discussions reportedly involve an iconic character potentially joining the game as a Killer.

Dead By Daylight confirms discussions with Disney for Star Wars chapter

Lately, Mathieu Cote, the director and partnership head at Behaviour Interactive (who also happens to oversee Dead By Daylight), had an interview with YouTuber Sawpalin. Since the interview was in French, there might be some inconsistencies in the phrasing or words due to automated English captions translations.

During the interview, Sawpalin inquired whether BeHaviour was considering creating a chapter featuring Star Wars, to which Cote responded affirmatively. He disclosed that not only had talks with Disney about Star Wars taken place, but they were centered around the concept of Darth Vader being the antagonist.

Cote stated, “I discussed Darth Vader with our representative at Disney, and I can confirm this interaction took place.” Regarding further details, Cote chose not to elaborate, as that’s often the case.

It’s important to clarify that a Star Wars chapter featuring Darth Vader as a killer is not yet officially confirmed, and there’s also no assurance of any future Star Wars crossover projects. However, BeHaviour has worked with Disney on the Alien franchise before, so it’s possible that something could develop for Star Wars, though it’s certainly not a certainty.

Amongst the numerous characters in the galaxy far, far away, Darth Vader stands out as an undeniable candidate for the role of a formidable, ruthless assassin. If a story were to be crafted around him, similar to the style of Rogue One, it would undoubtedly make for a gripping tale, yet at this point, any such development remains speculation.
