Dead By Daylight Chapter 35 PTB release date and why the delay is good news

In February 2025, Dead By Daylight saw an enjoyable run with the reintroduction of the 2v8 mode and its focus on Resident Evil. Players had high expectations for the month to be even better with the arrival of DBD Chapter 35’s Public Test Build (PTB). Regrettably, it seems we’ll have to wait a bit longer to experience the PTB. However, Behaviour Interactive has shed light on why the delay in the release date of Dead By Daylight Chapter 35 PTB turns out to be positive news.

Dead By Daylight Chapter 35 PTB release date

According to Behaviour Interactive, the release date for Dead By Daylight Chapter 35 (Public Test Build) is set for March 11th.

In a recent video update, BeHaviour Interactive confirmed that the Dead by Daylight PTB (Public Test Build), which we previously mentioned was set for release on February 18th, has been postponed. The new release date is now scheduled for March 11th, three weeks later than originally planned.

Currently, the identity of the episode’s antagonist remains unknown. This means that unlike typical episodes, there will be no survivor or map revealed. Moreover, it’s important to note that this character hails from another Intellectual Property (IP). Behaviour Interactive is yet to officially reveal the rogue, but rumors suggest it could be Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul.

Although the delay might seem prolonged, it’s lucky for Dead By Daylight players that they have plenty to keep them busy until its release. They can still participate in the 2v8 mode up until February 25th, earning a possible total of 800,000 Bloodpoints. Moreover, there are whispers of a beloved limited-time mode event set to return at the start of March, as hinted by leaks.
