The testing phase for Dead By Daylight Chapter 35.5, as per Behaviour’s announcement, begins on April 15th, 2025, which is outlined in their April 2025 plan.
Although the public test version becomes available tomorrow for everyone, those using platforms other than Steam must hold back their excitement until early May before they can try out the new survivor character.

When does the Dead By Daylight Chapter 35.5 PTB come out?
The scheduled launch of the Public Test Build (PTB) for Dead By Daylight Chapter 35.5 will occur at 8 a.m. Pacific Time, 11 a.m. Eastern Time, and 4 p.m. British Summer Time on April 15th.
The times listed for all launches are generally when public tests, chapters, or events commence. However, if BeHaviour is streaming live, the start time may be delayed by an hour, but in cases where there’s no live stream, these activities still begin at their usual times.

At this moment, the upcoming Dead By Daylight survivor remains undisclosed. We’ve only gotten hints in the form of auditory teasers suggesting the new character might be a nurse.
It seems unconfirmed, but based on their Instagram activity, there’s a strong possibility that the voice actor for this character is Angelica Ross, known for her role in American Horror Story.

To enjoy the Chapter 35.5 PTB, it’s essential that you own Dead by Daylight (DBD) on Steam. Once you have it via Steam, simply follow these instructions:
1. Launch your Steam client.
2. Navigate to your library and select Dead by Daylight.

4. If the PTB is available, you’ll find it as an option within the game itself.
