Dead by Daylight brings Dracula & Trevor Belmont from Castlevania later this month

As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, let me tell you, the announcement of Castlevania content for Dead by Daylight has sent a shiver of excitement down my spine! Ever since that tantalizing teaser back in May, I’ve been on pins and needles, waiting for this day to come.

In May, Behaviour Interactive excited fans with a string of announcements, hinting at Castlevania content for the game. Now, we’re on the brink of witnessing the age-old conflict between Dracula and the Belmont clan unfold in the Mist. It has been confirmed that Dracula will be taking on the role of the Killer, while Trevor Belmont will be the Survivor, both arriving in Dead by Daylight later this August. Additionally, original Castlevania effects will be added to every map at the same time.

As a long-time fan of both Dead by Daylight and Castlevania, I am absolutely thrilled to hear that Behaviour Interactive is collaborating to bring Castlevania content into the game. Having grown up with the classic Castlevania series, I’ve always appreciated the rich lore and iconic characters it offers, and I can only imagine how exciting it will be to experience them within the Dead by Daylight universe. The fact that this collaboration is happening in 2024 gives me plenty of time to prepare myself for what promises to be an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to see more details about the new content and witness firsthand how these two beloved franchises come together.

In his roles as Dracula, Dracula showcases his famous ability to transform. In his vampire state, he’s capable of hurling fireballs that can wound those unfortunate enough to be hit. As a wolf, he has an enhanced sense of smell for tracking down his prey. Lastly, in his bat form, he moves swiftly and silently, allowing him to surprise his victims before they are aware of his presence. Trevor’s familiarity with the night creatures will undoubtedly be helpful. He excels at finding companions and amplifying their abilities.

As a gaming enthusiast, it’s thrilling to finally get my hands on the long-awaited Castlevania addition to Dead by Daylight, which was first hinted at back in May. Keep an eye on our Dead by Daylight discussions for further updates and breaking news as they become available.
