DCU’s ‘Peacemaker’ Season 2 Expected to Drop in August on Max

It appears that just about a month after the debut of Superman, we’ll be visiting the DC Universe once more with season two of Peacemaker. Although an official launch date hasn’t been announced yet, series lead Danielle Brooks (playing Amanda Waller’s daughter Leota Adebayo) has inadvertently hinted at the likely release window during a recent interview.

During an interview with Collider regarding her part in A Minecraft Movie, Brooks hinted at something related to the second season, “I’ll give you a little sneak peek…Oh, I’m just joking; it releases in August, that much I can tell you. As for the dance number, let me put it this way…I had to master quite a bit of choreography. Spending hours with the choreographer was necessary since it was demanding. Memorizing those moves wasn’t a walk in the park. Getting the leg movements right and such, it was tough. But I managed. As for everyone else getting it down…Well, not exactly; but luckily for us, television magic, editing tricks, and all that help out.

Regarding the entirety of the upcoming season, Brooks commented, “You won’t be left feeling underwhelmed. This season is packed with emotion, and it boasts a fantastic start.
