Hodge gained fame through his portrayal of Hardison on the television series “Leverage,” Hawkman in the film “Black Adam,” and more recently, Alex Cross in the new “Cross” series on Prime Video. This online buzz may be fueled by whispers that Marvel Studios is considering recasting the role of T’Challa following the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman.
A significant factor fueling this trend stems from a 2012 interview where Hodge voiced his desire to portray Black Panther. He openly shared that Black Panther is the role he covets. As a child, he was captivated by the Marvel universe and found the character of Black Panter analogous to an African-American Batman.
