DBD players might have uncovered licensed chapter that would be BeHaviour’s wildest yet

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that the upcoming content for Dead By Daylight has me absolutely thrilled! The prospect of a Five Nights at Freddy’s chapter has been long-awaited, and now, it seems we might be in store for an even wilder crossover – Jurassic Park or Dino Crisis?

Enthusiasts of Dead by Daylight can look forward to some exciting content next year. Behaviour Interactive has given us a sneak peek into the new material expected at the start of the new year, and we also know that a chapter featuring Five Nights at Freddy’s is on the horizon. Although fans have been eagerly waiting for FNAF for several years, it seems players may have stumbled upon a licensed Dead by Daylight chapter that could very well be Behaviour’s most audacious project yet.

During BeHaviour’s live broadcast, known as Doomed Course, they unveiled their roadmap for December 2024 and plans for January that include an extraordinary partnership with renowned artist Junji Ito. They did not give any hints about the last licensed killer of Year 9 set to appear in March, but yesterday’s stream was still fantastic.

Though the unveiling of DBD x Junji Ito was spectacular, it’s not the sole intriguing collaboration set for next year. Officially confirmed is the Five Nights At Freddy’s integration into Dead By Daylight, but there’s also speculation about a possible dinosaur character as a killer.

Dead By Daylight might have uncovered Jurassic Park chapter

The infamous Dead By Daylight leaker, RuthlessLeaks, has been dropping hints about something X-related in the DBDLeaks Discord, and their latest posts suggest that more Resident Evil content is on the horizon, although it may not be released immediately. Additionally, they seem to be hinting at a new chapter for Dead By Daylight, potentially set for release in August of next year.

From Ruthless, we’ve only received a repetition of the code “201.3”. Unfortunately, there are no additional clues or suggestions given by the source, leaving the community with this single piece of information to interpret.

On the r/LeaksDBD subreddit, fans speculate that “201.3” could be hinting at a new Jurassic Park game chapter. This is due to the fact that the Jurassic Period spanned from approximately 201.3 million to 145 million years ago.

Ruthless’s 201.3 finally solved.

Redrafting the sentence to maintain its essence while making it more accessible and engaging:

In contrast to those who believe Jurassic Park doesn’t fit the horror genre, Behavior is prepared to explore beyond the boundaries of conventional horror in 2024, introducing elements from Dungeons & Dragons and Tomb Raider into their storylines.

It’s widely believed that “Jurassic Park” is associated with the Jurassic Period due to its name, and with another film titled “Jurassic World: Dominion,” also known as “Jurassic World Rebirth,” set to release next July, the connection seems even stronger. However, there are other theories besides just JP.

Beyond the possibility of Jurassic Park, some speculate it could also be Dino Crisis due to “201.3” being a nod to the dinosaur era, and since Behaviour Interactive has previously collaborated with Capcom, there’s already an established partnership between the two firms.

Absolutely, whether you favor Jurassic Park or Dino Crisis, neither theory is confirmed and is simply conjecture. Ruthless has not yet verified if the community’s guesses are correct about either scenario. However, Ruthless did correctly reveal details about the Chapter 34 killer being female and having a pet companion. They were incorrect about Perfect Blue, but they were accurate in their prediction of an anime/manga horror crossover being in development.
