DBD Orela Rose perks for new survivor and how to play Chapter 35.5 PTB now

Enthusiasts of Dead By Daylight have plenty to look forward to. At present, logging in daily during April 2025 grants players more than 800,000 Bloodpoints, and an additional million Bloodpoints when combined with BeHaviour’s apology offer. However, beyond the ongoing Blood Moon event, BeHaviour has recently unveiled a fresh DBD PTB. In this new update, you can discover the new survivor Orela Rose perks and learn how to play the Chapter 35.5 PTB immediately.

Dead By Daylight Orela Rose perks

Below are the perks for new Dead By Daylight survivor, Orela Rose, as part of the Chapter 35.5 PTB:

New Perks

  • Do no Harm:
    • When you heal another Survivor, for each hook state they have, heal 30/40/50% faster and gain +3/3/3% progress for succeeding great skill checks.
  • Duty of Care:
    • When you take a protection hit while healthy, all other Survivors within 16/16/16 meters gain 25/25/25% Haste for 4/5/6 seconds.
  • Rapid Response:
    • When you do a Fast Locker Exit, you suffer from the Exhausted status effect for 30/30/30 seconds.
    • When you gain Exhausted, you see the Killer’s aura for 1/1.5/2 seconds.
    • Exhausted prevents one from using perks that cause Exhausted.

How to play DBD Chapter 35.5 PTB

To play as the newest Dead by Daylight survivor, Orela Rose, during Chapter 35.5 Public Test Build, ensure that you’ve purchased the game through Steam. Here are the steps to do so:

1. Launch your Steam client.
2. Navigate to your library and find Dead by Daylight.
3. Right-click on the game and select “Properties.”
4. In the Properties window, click on the “Betas” tab.
5. Select “opt-in for Public Test Builds” from the dropdown menu.
6. Close the Properties window and right-click Dead by Daylight again.
7. Choose “Check for Beta updates.”
8. Once the update is available, install it and you should be able to play as Orela Rose in the Chapter 35.5 PTB.

  • Right-click Dead By Daylight in your Steam library 
  • Select “Properties” 
  • Head into “Betas”, then select Public Test Build from the list 

Dead By Daylight Orela Rose release date

On May 6th, you’ll find Chapter 35.5 and the latest Dead By Daylight survivor, Orela Rose, available across all platforms – PlayStation, PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. That’s when the original character will make her debut on these systems.

This month, Ken Kaneki was unveiled, and in May, there’s even more excitement brewing beyond just the original nurse from BeHaviour. The anniversary livestream is scheduled for May 9th, where we’ll get to delve deeper into the latest developments of the Five Nights At Freddy’s chapter, which BeHaviour has recently touted as their most impressive DLC to date.

Additionally, there’s strong speculation that we can start playing the FNAF PTB in May, with many predicting it to release on May 27th. It’s important to note, though, that this date is not yet confirmed. The full launch of the FNAF Chapter is set for June.
