DBD leaks reveal awesome Junji Ito skin renders with spine-chilling sounds and more

As a lifelong horror enthusiast with a soft spot for Japanese manga and anime, I can hardly contain my excitement for Dead by Daylight’s upcoming collaborations! The prospect of seeing Junji Ito’s chilling creations come to life within the game is nothing short of terrifyingly thrilling.

Dead by Daylight has some exciting plans for the coming year, and we’ve only caught a glimpse of a few crossover events on the horizon. We know about an upcoming collaboration with FNAF, and we also have news about a partnership with the highly acclaimed horror artist, Junji Ito. The anime/manga horror crossover is scheduled for early next year, and leaks from Dead by Daylight suggest stunning renders of Junji Ito skins, along with chilling sounds and additional features.

In the closing days of December 2024, be sure to collect all 1,500,000 Bloodpoints on offer and gather all Bone Chill 2024 rewards as well. Rumors suggest that Tokyo Ghoul will arrive in March next year, and there are also whispers hinting at a new chapter featuring Jurassic Park/World.

It’s not yet officially announced for Tokyo Ghoul or Jurassic Park, but Behaviour has confirmed a collaboration with Junji Ito, which is coming as character skins in the game Dead by Daylight. Leaked information suggests these skins will be visually stunning and the accompanying sound effects are said to be fantastic too.

The Dead By Daylight x Junji Ito skins collection will be available starting from January 7th. This information was shared during the Doomed Course livestream, and it’s now officially confirmed on the Dead By Daylight collections webpage.

In the upcoming collaboration, we’ll introduce character skins inspired by Junji Ito for these killers and survivors:

• The Dredge
• The Trickster
• The Twins
• Yun-Jin Lee
• Yui Kimura
• Kate Denson

Without a doubt, among all the skins, those for The Artist and The Spirit truly stand out as exceptional. These are noteworthy Legendary skins that metamorphose The Artist into Miss Fuchi from Rumors and a Fashion Model, while The Spirit’s Legendary skins transmute her into Tomie Kawakami.

These two legendary skins not only boast unique sounds and dialogue, but they’re also showcased by Dvveet on X. The voices of Miss Fuchi and Tomie Kawakami are downright chilling, making their already eerie designs even more unsettling.
