The Bone Chill 2024 event for Dead By Daylight will go live on December 12th, as announced during Behaviour Interactive’s stream marking the start of Chapter 34.
On Thursday, BeHaviour’s yearly Christmas celebration kicks off, but it’s also the day they release their new line of ugly sweaters and other winter apparel.

In Dead by Daylight (DBD), fresh events and chapters typically commence unless a live stream is ongoing. Starting with Bone Chill, this event runs from now until January 7th, providing ample time for you to immerse yourself in the holiday atmosphere and collect all the associated rewards.

New DBD map
Alongside BeHaviour Interactive’s yearly holiday event, a fresh map titled Ormond Lake Mine has been introduced. This map was previously included in the 8.4.0 Public Test Build (PTB), featuring The Houndmaster and Taurie Cain for Chapter 34.
The good news is that this map is not exclusive to Bone Chill as it is a permanent addition to the game. It’s the perfect location for winter terror as it is absolutely freezing with the map completely covered in ice and snow.
Dead By Daylight Bone Chill 2024 event rewards
For the Dead By Daylight Bone Chill 2024 event, participants can anticipate receiving a fresh design for Nea and The Huntress as character skins. Additionally, Frosty Weapons will be reintroduced for killers, while survivors can look forward to Frosty Shirts. Furthermore, expect Frosty Eyes and winter-themed emblems and trinkets as well.

Snowmen
In this winter season, snow figures are back, but with a twist! Some of these frosty figures can be controlled by both killers and survivors, allowing them to leap within. However, take caution, for among these snowy statues, there may be disguised decoys that seem ordinary, yet spring to life when you get close, only to detonate and warn other participants.
Snow skulls and mounds of snow return once more. These snow piles conceal skull-shaped objects that you can gather up and hurl much like a snowball. You can playfully fling these skulls at other players, or aim them at snowmen to bring them down, unveiling whether a hidden killer or survivor resides within.
Regarding any changes with snowmen this season, some may seem animated and move independently, causing confusion as to whether they’re regular snowmen or active players. As for snow skulls, exchange them to acquire the latest event skill – Instant Snowman. Essentially, this ability lets you summon a snowman whenever you want, eliminating the need to search for one across the map.
