Fans can’t wait to learn when Conner Floyd will step into the role previously held by Billy Flynn as Chad DiMera.

When will Conner Floyd make his debut as Chad DiMera on Days of Our Lives?
Previously starring in Days of Our Lives, Billy Flynn switched soap operas in March, joining the cast of Young and the Restless to assume the role of Aristotle Dumas. For quite some time, the character of Dumas had been hinted at and had become a significant figure on the show prior to Billy Flynn’s arrival.
As I found myself stepping down from my beloved character, Chad DiMera on Days of Our Lives, I couldn’t help but feel a twinge of sadness. Little did I know that this decision would pave the way for another talented actor to take over the role. Soon enough, Conner Floyd joined the Days of Our Lives family, having previously played Chance on Young and the Restless. It was bittersweet to pass on the mantle, but I knew the show was in good hands with such a skilled performer stepping into the part.
Conner has started filming for Days of Our Lives, according to a post from the show’s official Instagram account. However, don’t expect him on your screens soon. For now, Billy Flynn’s scenes will continue to be shown over the next few months. But mark your calendars, as Conner won’t step into his role until April 2026, as also confirmed in the same post that disclosed Floyd is currently filming for Days of Our Lives.
According to the latest updates, Billy Flynn, who has been portraying Chad on the show, will continue to do so until January 2026. After that, the character will be absent for a few months until April 2026, at which point Conner Floyd will take over the role.
