As a dedicated fan with years of stealth gaming under my belt, I can hardly contain my excitement for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater! The news that the original voice actors are reprising their roles is a testament to Konami’s commitment to delivering a faithful sequel.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater doesn’t have a definitive release date announced yet, but hints and tidbits about its launch seem to be gradually emerging from Konami and their team, suggesting it could arrive sooner rather than later. The most recent update stems from an exclusive interview with IGN, who were able to gather some of the main voice actors for the game to discuss Delta.

As a dedicated gamer, I was thrilled to learn that David Hayter, the voice behind Naked Snake, teamed up with Suzetta Minet (better known as Jodi Benson in real life) and Lori Alan, who gave life to The Boss. It was fascinating to discover that Suzetta Minet was actually a pseudonym back then, since she was deeply involved in more family-friendly projects at the time, such as lending her voice to Aerial in Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

Benson stated, “I’m thrilled that both long-time supporters and fresh admirers will have the chance to experience Delta. It shows them that they possess immense courage, bravery, and a capacity for grandeur, as well as the ability to tackle challenges.

Konami hasn’t yet revealed the release date for ‘Delta’, but what we do know is that you can play it from start to finish right away. Moreover, some of the original voice actors have returned to the studio to record new dialogue, though the extent of the additional content still remains a mystery. Konami has confirmed that many of the Easter eggs from the original game will be included in ‘Delta’, hinting that there might be a few exceptions.
