I can’t contain my excitement! Just dropped: a fresh Thunderbolts video starring none other than David Harbour, who took the wheel and gave us a side-splitting ride with the cast from the movie to CinemaCon. Absolutely hilarious!
Why was David Harbour driving the cast around?
In the latest video, Harbour portrays his Red Guardian character as he chauffeurs Florence Pugh, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Wyatt Russell, and Hannah John-Kamen. This quartet was in Las Vegas for this week’s CinemaCon, and they were all riding in the movie’s iconic Red Guardian service car.
In a comedic clip, Harbor is depicted swerving around quite a bit and not strictly adhering to traffic regulations. Meanwhile, the passengers in the rear seat couldn’t contain their laughter, including instances when Harbor stepped out to lend a hand.
As a die-hard fan, I can confirm that I had the privilege of giving David Harbour a ride to CinemaCon in Las Vegas alongside Florence Pugh, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Wyatt Russell, and Hannah John-Kamen. The journey was unforgettable, but whether they enjoyed it or not, I’ll leave that up to them! Excitedly counting down the days until tickets for Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* go on sale next Monday. Can’t wait to see it in theaters May 2nd!

Thunderbolts* will be released in United States theaters on May 2, 2025.
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be part of an incredible ensemble in this upcoming movie! In the story, I’ll be portraying Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent, Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster, Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost, Lewis Pullman as Bob, and lastly, the legendary Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. Can’t wait to bring these characters to life!
In the movie, Geraldine Viswanathan takes on the character of Mel, while Wendell Edward Pierce has been cast for an unspecified role. Moreover, it’s anticipated that Lawrence Fishburne and Rachel Weisz will reprise their characters from previous Marvel films: Lawrence Fishburne as Bill Foster (from Ant-Man and the Wasp), and Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff (from Black Widow).
The screenplay for Thunderbolts is penned by Eric Pearson, Lee Sung Jin, and Joanna Calo. Schreier’s previous works in film include Robot & Frank from 2012 and Paper Towns in 2015. Additionally, he has directed several episodes of the first season of Netflix’s Beef.
