David Dobrik Gets Babysat by His Assistant

The ‘A Day in the Life of…’ format is a pretty popular TikTok trend.

However, in the case of David Dobrik‘s assistant, a post following this trend caused quite a stir.

A Day in the Life of David Dobrik’s Assistant

In the video, she practices yoga in his garden, cooks his preferred breakfast, takes a ride in his Ferrari with him while house hunting, and pulls over to refuel the car despite the fact that he’s behind the wheel.

Following our hangout, I head over to my pals’ place for some lively rounds of drinking games, and afterward, we switch gears for pickleball practice.

In conclusion, she unexpectedly brings burgers to wake up David (who was already asleep in bed), and they enjoy eating these burgers together, right there in his bedroom.

One issue some viewers have noticed about the video is that the assistant seems to handle tasks that might not typically fall under an assistant’s role. This has led many to describe her actions as being overly nurturing or maternal in nature.

Furthermore, they appear to share an uncommon level of camaraderie in the video, and their actions suggest that their bond transcends the boundaries of a typical professional connection.

Critical Comments

The video consequently received criticism from the audience – here are a few comments:

Why does it feel like you’re his caretaker and he couldn’t live without you 😂 – senivas93

Not David Dobrik’s First Controversy

For quite a while now, David Dobrik has faced criticism as a contentious social media influencer. This stems from the actions of him and his old influencer crew, known as “Vlog Squad.

In February 2021, Seth Francois, a previous Vlog Squad associate, publicly alleged that David Dobrik had committed sexual assault against him, following an instance where he was deceived into kissing Jason Nash. Furthermore, he expressed feelings of coercion as the sole Black member, being encouraged to take part in content deemed culturally insensitive.

In March 2021, according to Business Insider reports, a member of the Vlog Squad was accused of sexually assaulting a woman who was intoxicated during a video shoot back in 2018.

Dobrik chose not to specifically counter the accusations made against him, which led to a significant loss of supporters and sponsors as well as a temporary suspension of his YouTube channel’s monetization.

Furthermore, in April 2021, Jeff Wittek shared a YouTube video labeled as a YouTube documentary, named Don’t Try This at Home. In this production, he discussed a severe incident that occurred in June 2020.

During the making of Dobrik’s return vlog, he soared above a small lake on an arm of an excavator that Dobrik himself was operating.

Upon Corinna Kopf nearly toppling over, I felt she thought Dobrik had crossed a line. In response, Wittek whizzed by at breakneck speed.

In the heat of the moment when Dobrik suddenly came to a halt, I unfortunately ran straight into an excavator and tumbled into the shallow water. This unfortunate incident resulted in some severe head wounds for me.

Later, Wittek filed a lawsuit for $10 million against Dobrik for negligence and intentional harm.

Unsuccessful Comeback

Currently, Dobrik is striving to rebuild his influence as a social media personality, according to a remark made on the assistant’s TikTok.

This is definitely a pr stunt to make him likeable – bellaeat3

Based on the feedback, it appears that the plan didn’t work out favorably. On the contrary, the video, which is rumored to be created by his assistant, seems to have further tarnished his image among the public.

How would you describe your feelings towards TikTok? Does it mainly serve as amusement, or do you find it somewhat peculiar? Given the recent scandals surrounding David Dobrik, what are your thoughts on him continuing to have a platform?
