In a nutshell, Daveed’s narrative revolves around Ashiq Abu, a middle-aged security guard who used to be a boxer. His rivalry with Turkish boxer Sainul Akhmadov sets him off on a deeply personal quest for atonement and resilience.
The remainder of the movie emphasizes Aashiq’s choice to stand up for honor and step into the ring, where he faces not only his adversaries but also his own history.
Cast and crew of Daveed
In the main character’s part, Daveed has chosen Antony Varghese Pepe. Moreover, a talented group of performers including Lijomol Jose, Vijayaraghavan, Saiju Kurup, Kichu Tellus, and several others take on supporting roles in this production.
In this movie, the director is Govind Vishnu, who teamed up with Deepu Rajeevan for the scriptwriting. The catchy tunes and background music in the film were skillfully composed by Justin Varghese.
