A distressing traffic accident claims the lives of two loved ones, setting off a chain reaction of hidden truths, deceptions, and remorse. Those who are left to pick up the pieces cannot find closure unless they experience another impact – a poignant examination of the past. The novel “Regretting You” delves into what remains after a catastrophe, the chaos and sorrow, yet also the charm of life and affection.
The filming for a movie set to be distributed by Paramount Pictures is predicted to start around the spring season of 2025.
Apart from being famous for “The Fault in Our Stars”, Boone is also recognized for directing movies like “Stuck in Love” (2012) and “The New Mutants” (2020). He’s contributed to the scripts for “All We Had” (2016) and “The Pretenders” (2018) as well. Furthermore, Boone and Benjamin Cavell jointly developed “The Stand” (2020), a miniseries adapted from Stephen King’s 1978 novel of the same name. In this project, he directed several episodes featuring stars such as James Marsden, Owen Teague, Alexander Skarsgård, and others.
