What happens in the Afterburn trailer?
The video transports viewers into a world after an apocalypse, featuring Bautista’s character as a treasure hunter hired by wealthy patrons. In his current assignment, he is tasked with retrieving Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. This mission sends him on a perilous journey to locate the priceless painting.
The film titled “Afterburn” is helmed by director J.J. Perry, with a script penned by Nimród Antal and Matt Johnson, inspired by the Red 5 Comics series created by Scott Chitwood, Paul Ens, and Wayne Nichols. The movie features performances from actors like Kristofer Hivju, Daniel Bernhardt, Eden Epstein, George Somner, Phil Zimmerman, Robert Holik, Lukás Frlajs, among others.
