Daredevil: Born Again’s Viewership Is Way Behind Loki Season 2

Following its premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025, the ratings for the revival series, titled “Daredevil: Born Again,” have been released. The series brings back Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jon Bernthal, and other familiar faces from Marvel Television’s acclaimed Daredevil series on Netflix. This has stirred great excitement among fans. Nevertheless, the viewership for “Daredevil: Born Again” is not as high as that of “Agatha All Along” and “Loki Season 2.”

Daredevil: Born Again’s ratings are lower than Loki Season 2 and Agatha All Along

In its initial five days on air, the opening episodes of Daredevil: Born Again amassed a viewership of 7.5 million, as reported by Variety.

In 2025, it was declared by the outlet that the premiere of Daredevil: Born Again became the most-watched debut on Disney+. Yet, this series has yet to surpass Marvel Studios’ earlier television miniseries, Agatha All Along, in viewership.

In September 2024, Agatha All Along premiered on Disney+ and garnered roughly 9.3 million views within its first week. By contrast, the second season of Loki, a well-liked Marvel TV series, attracted 10.9 million viewers only three days after it started streaming in October 2023.

Despite setting a record as the largest debut for Disney+ in 2025 with Daredevil: Born Again, there’s been a decline in viewership for the premieres of new Marvel series on the streaming service, as the numbers suggest a downward trend.

After its debut, Daredevil: Born Again managed to impress both critics and viewers with its opening episodes. On Rotten Tomatoes, it earned an 83% rating on the Tomatometer and 82% on the Popcornmeter. These ratings are predicted to rise as more episodes of the series become available.

The official tagline for Daredevil: Born Again, as stated by Marvel.com, goes like this: “Matt Murdock is working tirelessly for justice within his busy law firm, while Wilson Fisk embarks on political ventures in New York.” The narrative centers around these two characters as their old personas start to resurface, leading them towards an unavoidable confrontation.
