Actor Matthew Lillard, recognized for his roles in Scream (1996) and Five Nights at Freddy’s (2023), is now part of the cast for the second season of Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again.
Next week, Marvel Studios’ Daredevil: Born Again, a follow-up to the Netflix version of Daredevil, will debut on Disney+. In this series, Charlie Cox once again takes on the role of Matt Murdock, and Vincent D’Onofrio reappears as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.
It’s been confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again will continue with another season, and according to Deadline, actor Charlie Cox (Lillard) has been selected to play a yet unspecified part in the upcoming storyline of the series.
Beyond his roles as Stu Macher in Wes Craven’s Scream and William Afton in Five Nights at Freddy’s, Lillard is well-recognized for portraying Shaggy Rogers in the 2002 film Scooby-Doo and its sequel, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed from 2004. Since then, he has lent his voice to various animated Scooby-Doo productions that came out following Monsters Unleashed.
As a hardcore gamer, I can’t contain my excitement as I’m about to slip back into the shoes of my favorite characters once more! This coming December, it’s all about Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, and in 2026, I’ll be back screaming (literally) in Scream 7. On top of that, I’ve also got a role in Mike Flanagan’s The Life of Chuck hitting the big screen on June 6, 2025!
