Although the first season of “Daredevil: Born Again” has concluded on Disney+, executive producer and writer Dario Scardapane has shared an intriguing detail regarding Matt Murdoch’s relationship with Heather Glenn in Season 2. Actress Margarita Levieva portrays Heather, a character introduced in the revival series of Daredevil. From the very start, the show subtly sets up a romantic connection between the title character and the New York therapist.
In essence, differing opinions on masked vigilantes cause a divide between Glenn and his partner, prompting Glenn to ally with the antagonist Wilson Fisk. According to Scardapane’s recent updates, the dispute between Matt and Heather is expected to result in their separation in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.

During a recent conversation, it appeared that the experienced producer and scriptwriter unintentionally revealed that Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdoch and Margarita Levieva’s Heather Glenn may separate in the second season of Daredevil: Born Again.
During a conversation with TV Insider, Scardapane shared insights on how the storylines for the new characters might develop in the show’s second season. He described the backgrounds of Michael Gandolfini’s character Daniel Blake and Genneya Walton’s BB. In passing, he mentioned that Glenn would be an ex-partner of Matt in Season 2. He added, “In Season 2, you will find that Matt previously had a relationship with Heather [Margarita Levieva], who is now the mental health advisor for this administration.”
In essence, viewers may witness a disagreement between Matt and Heather in the initial episodes of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Since Deborah Ann Woll is returning as Karen Page, Matt’s romantic life could become quite intriguing during Season 2. However, an official release date for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has not been set, but Scardapane has confirmed that the new season will debut in March 2026.
