Dancing With the Stars two-night performances ends with a double elimination. Who went home?

As a devoted fan of Dancing With the Stars, I must say, this week was a rollercoaster ride! Monday’s Soul Train Night and Tuesday’s Hair Metal Night were a spectacle to behold, with each performance showcasing the contestants’ dedication, grace, and sheer determination. The guest judges, Rosie Perez and Gene Simmons, added an exciting twist to the competition, even if some of Mr. Simmons’ comments veered towards the flirtatious side.

As a devoted fan, I’ve been eagerly waiting for the return of “Dancing With the Stars” after a week’s hiatus. On Monday, October 7th, we were transported back to the groovy era of Soul Train Night. The energy was electric as our favorite celebrities danced to soulful tunes. But the fun didn’t stop there! Tuesday brought us Hair Metal Night, where contestants rocked out to hard-hitting anthems from the world of metal music. However, with two nights of performances this week, we had a double elimination, bidding farewell to not one but two celebrities. It’s always bittersweet to see them go, but their spirit on the dance floor lives on!

Each pair showcased their finest moves, although not all performances turned out as expected, causing Ilona Maher to cry during the second night. Nevertheless, the shows were entertaining, particularly with celebrity judges like Rosie Perez gracing us on the first night and Gene Simmons joining in for the second.

Who went home after two nights of performances on Dancing With the Stars?

In both performances, the scores were accumulated and they collectively represented both dances. However, elimination happened on the second night of the contest. Numerous competitors received 9s on both nights, but despite Simmons raising a paddle for Brooks Nader indicating a perfect 10, his actual recorded score for her dance was still a 9 because he had initially scored it as such.

It’s always intriguing when guest judges are involved, especially for those without experience in evaluating ballroom dances. While Simmons seemed competent at judging, he occasionally made comments about the women’s attractiveness. Nonetheless, we were excited to observe how the scoring brought the couples closer to reaching the finish line.

Mostly, a majority of the competitors have kept up their performance by either maintaining their level or progressing week after week, like Danny Amendola who keeps shining on the dance floor. The couple with the highest score of the night was Joey Graziadei from “The Bachelor” and his partner Jenna Johnson, whose total score summed up to 70.

Indeed, it was necessary to bid farewell to two famous personalities by the end of the night. The top three pairs at the conclusion were Ilona Maher and Alan Bernstein, Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart, and Reginald VelJohnson with Emma Slater. Despite their age and health concerns, both men moved us deeply with their dedication to the competition. Regrettably, they were the ones who had to leave.

1) We’ll surely feel their absence, but Reggie, with his vast fanbase on social platforms, stands out. You could sense his enthusiasm during the show, and we’re eagerly anticipating what lies ahead for him.

In the upcoming week, the celebrities are set to make their comeback for Dedication Night, where they’ll perform dances dedicated to significant people in their lives. Notably, former professional dancer Mark Ballas will grace us as a guest judge during this week’s performances. Given his past experience on the judging panel, he promises to offer valuable insights and constructive feedback to the remaining stars.

Dancing With the Stars airs Tuesdays on ABC at 8/7c.
