The forthcoming movie of Adivi Sesh titled Dacoit is generating growing curiosity and buzz among fans as more details are shared. Now, creators of the film have revealed a first glance at another fresh character from the production, which will be brought to life by renowned Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap.
Anurag Kashyap is unveiled as Inspector Swamy in a powerful new character portrayal, showcased by Adivi Sesh in an intriguing poster release. This gripping image depicts Anurag as a formidable cop character who will stand toe-to-toe with the main character in the upcoming storyline.

For those who aren’t familiar, Dacoit will be Anurag Kashyap’s first venture into the world of Telugu movies. Previously, he has been involved in Tamil film productions as a director and actor.
Previously, there was a significant shift within the Dacoit production team, with Shruti Haasan deciding to no longer be the main actress, for reasons that have not been made public.
I’m thrilled to share that months after the initial announcement, I was welcomed aboard as part of the team, taking over the same role from Shruti. On December 17, 2024, the makers of Dacoit unveiled my first look as the star of Hi Nanna, a special moment that coincided with Adivi’s birthday.
