Daaku Maharaaj pre-release event CANCELLED due to Tirupati stampede; makers of Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer REACT

Nandamuri Balakrishna is poised to mesmerize viewers once more with his acting in the upcoming movie, Daaku Maharaaj. Directed by Bobby Kolli, this production has sparked interest among audiences for various captivating aspects, including tantalizing sneak peeks, previews, trailers, and tunes. The film is set to premiere in cinemas on January 12th.

Today, January 9th, a special event prior to the movie premiere of NBK’s film is set to happen, just beside the Ayyappa Swamy Temple in Andhra Pradesh.

Consequently, due to the unfortunate incident at the Tirupati Temple where a stampede occurred, the organizers have officially announced that the event has been canceled.

Sithara Entertainments, the production company behind Daaku Maharaaj, expressed sorrow over the unfortunate incidents happening around the temple area and felt that holding the pre-release event for their movie at that location, so close to the time of the chaos, would be insensitive and potentially dangerous.

They wrote a message that stated, “Due to current events, we believe it inappropriate to go ahead with the #DaakuMaharaaj Pre Release Event as scheduled. With deep sadness and great respect for the dedication and feelings of the public, we have chosen to cancel today’s event. We ask for your understanding and support during these challenging circumstances.

To put it simply, there’s been a lot of excitement among viewers worldwide, especially in North America, as advance ticket sales for the movie are approaching the $25,000 mark.

To put it another way, the latest song by Daaku Maharaaj, called “Dibidi Dibidi,” has faced criticism. Featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Urvashi Rautela, viewers have pointed out that some of the dance moves depicted in the song appear to be questionable or unsuitable.
