Daaku Maharaaj: Nandamuri Balakrishna, Bobby Deol starrer falls prey to piracy; full movie leaked in HD versions a day after release

In his second acting phase, Nandamuri Balakrishna is reaching new heights, largely due to the tremendous success of his latest film, Daaku Maharaaj. The Bobby Kolli-directed movie has already garnered a fantastic response from fans, and it appears that box office records are hitting record highs at present.

Yet, only a day following its launch, Daaku Maharaaj was victimized by piracy, with high-definition full versions appearing illegally on the internet.

Unauthorized streaming platforms such as Filmyzilla, Telegram, Tamilrockerz, among others, have made it possible for the widely popular movie to be accessed illegally.

It’s no surprise that yet another South Indian film, following movies such as Viduthalai 2, Game Changer, UI, and others, has fallen prey to piracy shortly after its premiere in cinemas.

For those not familiar, Indian laws on piracy are quite firm. Anyone caught violating these rules could face significant penalties, such as hefty fines and potentially long-term incarceration.

Under the Copyright Act, it is prohibited for anyone other than the filmmakers themselves to manipulate or replicate the movies in any way they see fit.

Additionally, people who opt to watch pirated copies of a movie could potentially expose themselves to cyber threats such as identity theft by hackers. They might also inadvertently end up losing money or valuable data.

Indeed, movie piracy can significantly impact a film’s box office performance, as well as affect the genuine reaction it might have received in theaters. Moreover, it undermines the effort and dedication of the entire cast and crew.

Pirating movies can negatively influence a film’s box office success and the response it would naturally receive during its theatrical release. It also disrespects the hard work invested by the actors and production team.
