The opening matches of the Elimination Stage are set!
Starting this coming Thursday, December 5th at 4 AM CET sharp, we move into the Elimination Stage with a series of best-of-one matches. On the same day, you’ll find the 1-0 and 0-1 games as well. Here’s an in-depth look at which teams are progressing and the matchups for the initial round.
Teams Advancing to the Elimination Stage
Eight teams emerged from the Opening Stage to join the top-seeded powerhouses in the next round:

The initial BO1 matchups of the Elimination Stage
According to the tournament structure, the top seeds based on the Regional Major Ranking (RMR) will play against top performers from the initial stage. This setup has resulted in a thrilling series of opening matches, featuring a highly anticipated repeat encounter between BIG Clan and HEROIC in the European RMR-B bracket, as well as numerous high-stakes showdowns. The Asian spectators are eagerly anticipating The MongolZ’s challenge against powerhouse team G2, hoping for an unexpected victory.

This stage follows a similar structure as the Opening Stage. For the initial rounds, single-match series (1-0 and 0-1) will be played. Later on, best-of-three series will determine which teams progress or are eliminated. At the end of the Elimination Stage, the top eight teams will qualify for the playoffs, while the bottom eight teams will exit the Major.
The Knockout Round is set to occur between December 5 and December 8, followed by the start of the playoffs on December 12. Eventually, the championship game will be held on Sunday, December 15.
