Crunchyroll Reveals Gachiakuta’s English Dub Release Date

At long last, the eagerly awaited anime titled Gachiakuta has officially announced its release date for both Japanese and English versions of the dub. Slated to premiere next month, this animated series, inspired by the manga series penned and illustrated by Kei Urana, will simultaneously debut in subtitled and dubbed formats on the same day.

Gachiakuta’s English dub cast and same-day release revealed

Crunchyroll, a well-known streaming platform, has revealed that the English dubbed version of Gachiakuta will debut on the same day as its original Japanese version. Both versions of the anime will be available for viewing starting July 6, 2025.

Beyond revealing the air date for both the original Japanese and English-dubbed versions of Gachiakuta, Crunchyroll recently unveiled the actors for the English-dubbed version in their recent announcement.

  • Rudo is voiced by Bryson Baugus
  • Enjin is voiced by Christopher Wehkamp
  • Zanka is voiced by Corey Wilder
  • Riyo is voiced by Katie Caruso

Hailing from Studio Bones, known for its work on “My Hero Academia: Vigilantes” (2025), the series Gachiakuta focuses on the tumultuous journey of Rudo, a resident of the slums in a bleak future society. Following an unjust accusation of murder, Rudo is exiled to the Abyss, a treacherous and toxic region that serves as a prison for the area’s criminals. To endure the merciless wilderness of the Pit, Rudo teams up with the Cleaners, a group that fights against the malevolent creatures lurking in the abandoned land.

As a devoted admirer, I’m excited to share that Fumihiko Suganuma, renowned for his work on Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, is the series director. Hiroshi Seko lends his talents as the composer for the Gachiakuta anime. Additionally, Satoshi Ishino, who previously worked on Godzilla Singular Point, contributes to the character designs and serves as the chief animation director for the anime adaptation of the beloved manga series.
